No, he won\u2019t say his name \u2014 it\u2019s too sacred \u2014 but he\u2019ll put words in YAH\u2019s mouth. I noticed that fact back in the 50th Psalm, although Asaph made YHWH sound like a big, bad bully, and turned my opinion of them both due south.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s how it is with YHWH or Jehovah. He\u2019s angry and jealous. He demands that all his followers obey rules (or not) and that they sacrifice living things and their own lives to Him, if He so chooses. He says, \u201cThou shalt not kill,\u201d but forgives murder, even genocide, if his followers are devout or overly zealous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Asaph warns us that \u201cGod is the Judge: \/ He puts down one \/ And exalts another. \/ For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup, \/ And the wine is red; \/ It is fully mixed, and He pours it out; \/ Surely its dregs shall all the wicked of the earth \/ Drain and drink down.\u201d Drunk we become.
